KeepTabs does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to us or to any third party. Period.
When you choose to save tabs, KeepTabs stores the page titles and URLs of those
tabs locally on your own device, using Chrome's local storage
(chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your computer. We have
no servers and no way to see it.
There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
tabs — to read the title and URL of the tabs in your current
window, only when you press "save".storage — to save your folders locally on your device.The backup button exports a JSON file directly to your own computer. We never receive or see this file.
Your data lives only on your device. Deleting a folder, or removing the extension, removes the data. We hold nothing to delete on our side.
